FLIP Care Companion helps you organize, track, and reflect. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Using the app does not create a doctor-patient, nurse-patient, therapist-client, or any other professional relationship.
Not an emergency response system
The app does not monitor anyone, does not detect falls or medical events, and does not contact emergency services. In an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number), never rely on a message, task, or alert in FLIP.
Medication and appointment tracking
Medication lists, doses, refill counts, and appointment reminders reflect only what you or your circle entered. Entries can be wrong, outdated, or missing, and notifications can be delayed or fail to deliver. Always confirm doses with the prescription label, pharmacist, or prescriber.

Responses generated by our AI care coach are for peer support and general informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional care guidance, counseling, therapy, crisis intervention, or medical direction, and they may be inaccurate. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US) or 911.
Assessments and scores
ROOTS scores, readiness results, and Zarit burden scores are self-reported reflection tools, not clinical instruments or diagnoses. Discuss results with a professional before acting on them.
Resources, providers, and community
Resource listings, agency referrals, respite helpers, guide sessions, and community posts are provided for convenience. We do not verify, license-check, endorse, or supervise third parties, and we are not responsible for the care they provide or the advice members share. Vet anyone who will be in your home or handle care.
